SESSION I: The Global 2030 Agenda & COP21 Paris Agreement

Moderated panel session with a focus on the key issues at European level for achieving low-emission mobility. Decarbonising the transport sector thus remains both a challenge and an opportunity for European policymakers, and low-carbon transport modes such as rail can play a big role in effectively reducing GHG emissions. The panel discussion will address the greenhouse gas emission targets, the EU strategy and actions.
